Hoonko Eve Special BCA Center for Buddhist Education is having a special Hoonko Eve observance at the Jodo Shinshu Center. There will be special chanting created by the Hongwanji commemorating the Shinran Shonin 750th Memorial Observance, Friday January 15, 2010. Time: 7 -9 PM at the Jodo Shinshu Center, 2140 Durant Avenus, Berkeley, CA 94704.

2010 New Year Temple Dinner January 23rd at 6 PM in the Gym. Bento box for adults, Pizza for children. Please RSVP to the office for tickets and payment.
BWA Installation Luncheon January 31st at 12 Noon, Ming's Restaurant on Embarcardero Road, Palo Alto. Dim Sum Lunch, fun, games, prizes, with a guest panel of female temple members. Topic: "How the roles of Family, Career & Religion effect our lives". Please RSVP to the temple office by January 17th with $20 per person for the lunch.
