Thirteen of the PABT Jr YBA members attended the Bay District Jr YBA annual retreat at the San Luis Obispo Temple at the end of June. The delegates had a great time conducting services and attending workshops on the theme "Like a Good Neighbor, Buddha is There".

Two of the PABT Jr YBA members (Brandon Yanari and Sydney Shiroyama) attended the BCA Youth Advocacy Council 3rd annual retreat at the Jodo Shinshu Center. After a week of training and classes, the participants were given Buddhist names at a ceremony conducted by Socho Ogui. The participants were also given robes and okesas to use while performing services.

The PABT Jr YBA will be taking a trip as a "Senior Send-off" to the four seniors who will be going onto college. The trip will be on the weekend of August 11.
