We warmly invite you to join us for our weekly Sunday services at 10:00 AM. Our
services are held year-round, with a short break during the month of August.

If you’re visiting for the first time, we encourage you to introduce yourself to our greeter
or one of our minister assistants—they’ll be happy to help guide you and share what to
expect during the service.
 

The Palo Alto Buddhist Temple has been a part of the community for over 110 years,
with the past 70 years at our current location on Louis Road. We are a Jodo Shinshu
Buddhist temple, a tradition that began in Japan over 800 years ago and is deeply
rooted in the teachings of the historical Buddha from over 2,600 years ago.
