Message from the PABT President

Palo Alto Buddhist Temple Community,

In consideration of the Santa Clara County and CDC ever-changing guidelines, with the advent of new Covid variants and more so the well-being of our Sangha family, the Temple Board has agreed to continue the suspension of “fully attended in-person” functions. This includes our Sunday Dharma Services and most cultural and athletic gatherings. We will continue to revisit our status monthly. Although, for Temple member families Reverend Koyama is offering small (< 30 people) “in-person” funeral and memorial services. We are also hosting our Sunday services at 10:00 AM online via Zoom.

Remember, a temple is never really closed. Thanks to everyone, the heart of the temple, the Nembutsu, is still heard and shared. Please stay safe and healthy and let us all continue to help each other hear Namo Amida Butsu.

Thank you for your continued support and Gassho.
